Striking Visual Arts & Pulsating Musical Performances Warm up the Winter Weekends at Freedom Park

A Hundred Hands packs a delightful art punch once again. This time it’s a “double treat” for Bangaloreans. The debut stunning edition of Art for All Festival (Nov 30 and Dec 1, 2024), enabled by BLR Hubba, will be followed by the all-time favourite of handloom lovers, the Festival of Handmade (Dec 4 – 8).

Wintery evenings in Bangalore are warming up with arty vibes as A Hundred Hands packs a punch once again, and this time with a greater vigor of a whole new exclusive event for visual arts! And although the impact of Cyclone Fengal continues to bring light drizzle to showers, Bangaloreans brave it out when it comes to making the best of every outing opportunity, especially on weekends 😉

It’s “a double delight” with back to back happening weekends organized at Freedom Park. The first one is a A Hundred Hands’s debut edition of Art for All Festival (November 30 and December 1, 2024), enabled by BLR Hubba. This visual arts event will be followed by the all-time favourite of handloom lovers, the Festival of Handmade, December 4 – 8.

“I’m very excited about extending the platform for creators to contemporary artists. It’s being enabled by BLR Hubba. They encouraged us to bring in a new platform. I was eager to explore this genre. It helps brings in a wider range for customers who visit  A Hundred Hands  as well as get in a whole new group into the community that we’ve built over 15 years,” says Mala Dhawan, Founder Trustee, A Hundred Hands.

Striking Fine Arts & Free-Spirited Live Performances

Situated in the Central Business District of Bengaluru, Karnataka, the Freedom Park is a historic venue that has witnessed some of momentous public protests. Formerly the Central Jail of Bangalore, it was opened to the public in November 2008. It certainly seems no coincidence that this very venue turned into a powerhouse of expressions of contemporary visual arts. The opening live performances in the evenings by singer-songwriter and ecologist Ditty, and The Tapi Project, a folk and contemporary fusion music band set the right notes on the opening day. The place reverberated with voices drawing attention to sustainable living and the true spirit and essence of freedom.
