If the blue fairy made Pinocchio’s wish to become a real boy come true, the Silk Fairy of The Faraway Tree helped the little ones overcome all their worries. Well, the mythical fairies in tales have their magic wands and swooshing stars to dispel people’s troubles by casting a spell. But here’s a real life “fairy” that brings you naturally rejuvenating wellness solutions for your holistic body care needs. AromaFairy, Parinaaz Irani’s labor of love and beauty, is a wellness brand of skin care, hair care and body care products carefully handcrafted from essential oils and balanced botanical ingredients. Specializing in natural skin and hair nourishment care and a host of repair and replenishment remedies, the brand offers a range of products, including face masks, face mist, hair oils and hair butter to mention a few.
While the brand was formally founded in 2013, the seedling of its spirit germinated long before. When Parinaaz Irani, Founder, AromaFairy was barely 10 years old, she began her skincare “experiments” in the kitchen. “I remember I was the only one who preferred to apply milk at breakfast, than to drink it. Every day, I would read up something new in the newspaper or magazine about how our kitchen ingredients can be life saviors for our skin and hair. We did not have the Internet or Google back then! From going to the salon with my aunts to curing my own heat rashes with turmeric and rose water, it was fun and truly innovative”, reveals Parinaaz.
As Parinaaz’s humble personal care experiments paved way for more sophisticated products, her family and well-wishers were the first among patrons to use them. With the overwhelming response and encouragement she received from them, there was no looking back. Making the best of her creative energy, Parinaaz set out to pursue her passion with her muse, AromaFairy. “My biggest strength has been my daughter who was merely six back then when AromaFairy was launched. Being a single parent, it was a real struggle but we overcame it together. I think everything just fell into place because I was driven by passion to make this work,” reminisces Parinaaz

“When I started introducing new products, I began to realize how every product I made was making a difference to the lives of people all around me and across the globe. That’s when I knew it’s not just about the products or the business; it’s about making people love themselves and helping them be the best versions of themselves. It’s about being the confident you.
For men, it’s the deep dark tans that make them feel less confident, while for women tired dehydrated skin would kill their self-esteem. If a simple, all natural face pack or a convenient and easy night routine can make them feel good about themselves, then why not? Thus, my journey isn’t about huge goals or changing the world but about smaller milestones that have made me happy and have thus helped me share that happiness with others. We definitely need this chain reaction in today’s uncertain times.”

I do believe that people must get what they pay for. We have over 7k+ customers today and yet I personally talk/chat with each one of them and let me tell you, I enjoy every bit of it. When I have happy people returning to tell me how the products have benefited them and how confident they feel, it charges me up to do better and go that extra mile for people,” she explains.
What sets AromaFairy apart from the umpteen “Natural” and “Organic” options available in the market?
“I honestly don’t see any brand as competition. I believe in being in competition with myself and bettering my brand every day and in every way. New brands come into the market but how many stay? We have stayed through all the ups and downs in the market. AromaFairy has loving patrons and dedicated customers all around the world and to me that means a lot.
We don’t make products in a factory. We make handcrafted products with tender love and care. We make products that have the simplest yet most potent ingredients. We make powerhouses and fill them up in cute little jars for your skin, hair and body care needs. I always encourage my customers to read the labels and to check for themselves. Right from aloe vera to essential oils, everything is made from the scratch. From herbal powders to rose water, it’s all made with fresh ingredients that grow is simple gardens. We even import some herbs that are not available in India. We believe in using high quality ingredients and do not tolerate substandard raw material,” explains Parinaaz.
In COVID-19 times, how important is it to look and feel good, as naturally as possible?
“COVID-19 has not just affected our physical health and the health of economy but has widely affected the mental health of people all around the world. It has taken away a lot from us but nothing can take away little joys from our life is what I believe. I am too much of an optimist to be honest. Throughout the low phases of this COVID period, I never skipped my skin hair and body care regimes. And trust me I am so glad I did not. I strongly believe one must look good to feel good. Keep your spirits high at all times. Even a simple home facial is my go to remedy for a bad day or a dull mood,” she sums up.
Recycling initiative: The brand encourages conservation of environment and hence encourages its customers to return the jars (product containers) for recycling.
