Launched in August 2020, Inside Joy is an online gifting company founded by Shweta, who is a member of The Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs. The brand idea arose from her own memorable experiences of receiving and exchanging gifts. To her, little surprises and thoughtful hampers always mattered more than anything else. “Personally speaking, I’m not into big gifts but more into cherishing the joy of unwrapping a gift box and making experiences,” says Shweta. She fondly recollects how she and her bestie would exchange the same greeting card for years by adding on birthday notes to it each year. This memory stayed on with her when she decided to venture into a business to create a distinct identity of her own.
“I received an overwhelming response during Diwali. With busy lifestyles today, people prefer to sit in the comfort of their homes and shop. The ongoing Covid-19 scenario has only made this preference stronger. After all, it’s not possible to be physically present on all occasions of your loved ones but your token of love can still reach them,” she signs off.
